"A Mid-Autumn Night's Dream" is the seventh episode of Season 1.
Synopsis[edit | edit source]
Roger's grandma Pat breaks out of her assisted living facility and shows up at his doorstep, complaining that she isn't being mentally stimulated enough and she feels herself slipping away. He apologizes for not visiting more often and takes her and Jillian out to a nice dinner and then to the Shakespeare play Colin is directing. Mid-meal, Jillian gets a call from her mother about experimental brain surgery that could possibly return her to the person she was before her accident. Knowing that he too was once in an accident, Jillian attempts to pick Robert's brain over coffee about whether or not she should undergo the procedure. Pat, on her way back to her facility, spies them and begins to think there is something a bit fishy about her grandson's "relationship."
