In a break from traditional full-length narratives, "Charlie mi ha morso il dito" is a two-hour block of operatic vignettes, created by Bonita Alcott and inspired by viral YouTube videos.

While the eponymous vignette touches audiences with its relatable tale of sibling rivalry and provocation, other scenes (among them an aria consisting only of the word "FENTON!" over and over) leave viewers scratching their heads.

The premise of the project horrifies the board of trustees and while they continue to allow Bonnie creative control, she decides to hand the next two years of directorial duties to her cousin Cora (with the blessing of department head Suzanne Klein) to get them off her back, returning as opera director in 2020 with the production of "The Brown Note."
