Synopsis[]
When another performer in the Wicked tour gets injured, the producers are brought to trial. Robert, having helped Jillian organize all the documentation of her treatment and setbacks since they became exclusive, encourages her to testify. While the far more injured new plaintiff gets the lion's share of the settlement, Jillian receives a substantial sum. As a token of appreciation for her boyfriend, she decides (with Vera's permission) to give his creative writing classroom a makeover, replacing the musty shades with brand new curtains, the scratched and smudged windows with new ones, and filling the walls and shelves with inspiration for his students, including for some reason a lively toucan. While initially a major distraction, Robert begins to enjoy the attention the bird brings when it rides around on his shoulder in between classes. Meanwhile, as Maya continues to breeze effortlessly through her third pregnancy, a jealous Esther is put on bed rest and Vera enlists Jenna in helping her find a substitute.
