Fifi Gilman[]
Fifi Gilman is a theater student in the Winter Lake Academy for the Arts class of 2019. She is the daughter of Carolyn Gilman and the late Eric Gilman, and the grandchild (on her mother's side) of retired soap star Calliope Witherspoon (née Callie Murphy) and Jonathan Bates. The identity of her grandfather is a mystery at first, as they bear little resemblance to each other other than their short stature, but as more of Jonathan's past is revealed, all the timelines add up.
Carolyn Gilman[]
Carolyn Gilman is the daughter of Calliope Witherspoon and Jonathan Bates. She was conceived during Calliope's senior year at The Academy, when Calliope returned to upstate New York for Thanksgiving break and lost her virginity to a young Jonathan Bates, on break himself from the Finger Lakes School for Aimless Boys. Despite the overwhelming trend of adoption at the time of Carolyn's birth, Calliope kept her daughter and raised her in California.
